Youth Arrested for Graffiti
Mississauga – On Monday, November 13, 2012, the 12 Division Neighbourhood Policing Unit culminated an investigation with the arrest of a young person for numerous property related offences.
On May 31, 2012, police initiated an investigation into reports of graffiti in the Lakeshore area of Mississauga, preparing Production Orders and Search Warrants which resulted in the arrest of a youth from the area.
Four separate victims have been identified as The City of Mississauga, Bell Canada, Enersource and Rogers.
Four counts of Mischief Under $5000.00 have been laid against the youth, who cannot be named as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act. These charges encompass 35 acts of graffiti.
The investigation is continuing and investigators anticipate further arrests.
